Golf is a powerful, explosive sport requiring a players body to be well balanced, strong, fast and powerful.  When players struggle on the course it's because their bodies are unable to do what the golf swing requires.  This often leads to lack of endurance in the final three or four holes along with painful sticking points in their backs, shoulders, hips, etc. from these physical limitations.

  • I am so happy to be working with RTE Health and Performance. Ryan Elsass is so knowledgeable, creative and positive. My sports passion is golf. Ryan evaluated my physical weaknesses to dentist issues that could negatively affect my golf game. He has designed a program that works on those specific areas of need as well as improving my overall fitness and strength. He has encouraged me through a knee issue and has continued to help me work toward my goal of improving my golf fitness.

  • I started working with Ryan in over the winter and in that time my fitness levels have reach places I never would have gotten to on my own. Without even doing any speed training I have been able to add around 5 mph of club head speed as well as shave 3 strokes of my handicap in only two months of play!   • I found Ryan through a local TPI search, and he’s been great to work with both for the TPI assessment itself and helping to identify a variety of exercises and stretches to help my mobility. It’s been nice having him as a resource to help me get back on track fitness-wise…I’ve noticed improvement in just a few months! Ryan is an excellent communicator and I would certainly recommend him as a trainer for anyone looking improve their fitness for golf or life!

  • I've been wanting to improve my golf fitness for some time now, and discovered Ryan/RTE via a TPI search in the Pittsburgh area. Over the past 6 weeks, I've already noticed substantial improvement in hip strength/movement and can't wait for the weather to break to see the translation to the course. Ryan keeps each workout fresh with different exercises that correlate to good golf posture, movement and strength. I would recommend Ryan to anyone that wants to improve the fitness aspect of their golf game!
